I love nature. I love bugs. I love moths. I love the variety that comes with all species of insects. Often times, when I paint a bug, I feel the need to stay within the limits of "real" species and create a piece that is biologically accurate.
But today, I painted an imaginary, non-existent (until now!) cute, colorful moth! I hope he inspires you to go paint out of your normal bounds today.
